Finishing the Basement for ALL the kids... big and little !

This family with 5 kids needed a space for everyone to gather and let loose. The littlest needed a playroom to fit all her toys. The teenagers wanted a cinema to watch movies and sports. Mom and dad wanted all the spaces to double for adult gatherings. We reimagined spaces into rooms, added a bathroom and used lots of family heirlooms to complete the space making it feel unique, unexpected and a little nod to the past with some art deco elements. We added tons of storage, cinema seating & an amazing audio visual system for movie night. We even added a bay fireplace that can be seen as you walk down the stairs. Perfect for cuddling up.

BUILT IN STORAGE

A blank wall becomes a signature piece of built in furniture.

NEW POWDER ROOM

Every cinema needs a restroom for movie goers. This one added some art deco flair to our theatre.

MOVIE THEATRE SEATING

With seating for everyone, a bar top area for snacks in the back we focused on soft downlighting while also blocking off other light sources. Sound dampening panels and new trim work sets the scene with a retro carpet.
